Our paints are professional-grade and suitable for use on sensitive skin. However, as with all cosmetic products, there is a small risk of an allergic reaction. If you are concerned that you or your child may have developed an allergy to the face paint, remove it as soon as possible with warm water and a flannel. If the reaction does not settle or is severe, seek medical attention as soon as possible.
How do I remove the face paint and glitter?
All paints are water activated and can be is easily removed using warm water and a gentle soap suitable for the face. Be sure to help your child with washing and removing their body art with mild soap or baby shampoo. Lather gently with fingers, rinse with warm water using a dark washcloth. Be sure to keep your eyes closed to prevent eye irritation. Avoid scrubbing, scrubbing can irritate sensitive faces and eye irritation. If color remains, gently remove with baby oil or moisturizer on a cotton pad. We do our best to keep glitter applications from near the eyes, however, rubbing, scrubbing, wiping, etc. may result in glitter migrating to unintended areas. Be sure to prevent glitter from getting close to or in the eyes while removing and washing the face.
